The sketch comedy TV show Astronomy Club has been cancelled after only one season on Netflix.

The group formed in 2014 in New York City and members include Shawtane Bowen, Jonathan Braylock, Ray Cordova, James III, Caroline Martin, Jerah Milligan, Monique Moses, and Keisha Zollar.

The group announced the cancellation on Blackout Tuesday, where many were amplifying the art and messages of black men and women.

“Seems like a good time to mention #AstronomyClub was sadly not renewed by @netflix. Thank you to all the fans who watched! Hoping that more black artists & comedians are given the platform to have voices in the future,” the group posted on their Twitter account.
