Rihanna’s Song ‘Stay’ Passes One Billion Streams On YouTube

Rihanna’s song Stay has surpassed YouTube’s one billionaire stream mark earning her the chance to join the billionaire club.

The American-based Barbados singer crosses the billion streams milestone on the streaming stage with her ballad Stay and feature a producer from Nashville Mikky Ekko.

Lifted from Rihanna’s Billboard 200-leading album from 2012, Unapologetic, the mellow tune peaked at No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and was nominated for a Grammy Award (best pop duo/group performance) winning the song of the year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The singers Fenty cosmetics empire raised her bar into the billionaire zone. According to Forbes, she’s worth $1.7 billion which earns her the position of the wealthiest female musician and second to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.

This is not Rihanna’s first introduction into YouTube’s elite club. Her Song Stay is reportedly her eighth music video that crosses one billion streams on YouTube which prolongs her record for solo female artists and ushers in Mikky Ekko as a first timer.
